Kim Dixon Environmental Consultant LLC has been certified by the NJDEP to submit permit applications electronically. This will eliminate the 90 day wait for the issuance of your permit. The permit will be issued the day we submit the application to NJDEP!
Currently, the NJDEP will allow electronic submittal for General Permit by Certification Nos. 10 & 15 . The activities approved under these permits includes bulkhead replacement in-kind, fixed docks, floating docks, boat lifts and jet ski lifts. These permits are for activities on man-made lagoons only. The NJDEP recently added Freshwater Wetland General Permit Nos. 8 & 25 and Flood Hazard Area General Permit by Certifications to the electronic process. These permits approve of activities include filling of freshwater wetlands for house additions, replacement of malfunctioning sewage disposal systems and construction of dwellings in Flood Hazard Areas.
The NJDEP is looking into other types of permits that would be eligible for electronic submittal. We will post the additional permits and the activities once they become available.
