Kim Dixon has a BS in Chemistry with a Minor in Marine Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Masters in Business Administration from Stockton University. She was previously employed by the NJDEP for 11 years and has a total of 37 years experience in environmental consulting, wetlands delineation, and land use regulation. As a NJDEP employee she reviewed permit applications for the Land Use Regulation Program and also investigated violations in the Bureau of Coastal and Land Use Enforcement. Kim Dixon holds multiple certifications including Society of Wetland Scientist Profession Wetland Scientist Certification, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineator, Freshwater Wetland Plant Identification, Soils of New Jersey, and Basic Hydrology. She is also a Member of Cambridge Who's Who among Executive and Professional Women, the Society of Women Environmental Professionals, New Jersey Chapter, and Society of Wetland Scientists.
